Mini Uzi firearm and 800 ammunition discovered from Beruwala

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A Mini Uzi firearm used for protecting VIP officials, seven other weapons and 800 ammunition have been discovered from a house in Beruwala. The stock of weapons and ammunition were discovered by the Law enforcement unit of the Kaluthara division. The Police Media Unit confirmed that in addition six shotguns, a 2.5mm firearm and a crossbow were also discovered from the house.  The discovery was made based on information provided by a suspect who had been arrested from Badura Eliya.
