RDA warns drivers on expressways to drive safe

Colombo (News1st): The Road Development Authority, citing the prevalent weather, has asked commuters to be careful when using the highways. They requested everyone to use seatbelts and to avoid driving at excess speeds during adverse weather conditions. Meanwhile, the number of vehicles using the highways has increased with the beginning of the festive season from 50,000 to between 65 and 75,000.
