"RW should first establish democracy within UNP" - President

Colombo (News1st): President Maithripala Sirisena stated that Ranil Wickremesinghe is not capable of installing democracy in the country at a time when it is absent within his own party. President went onto note that Ranil Wickremesinghe does not allow the back-benchers in his party to rise and that he should first establish democracy within his party before speaking highly of the country's law and democracy. The President made these remarks at a meeting held at the President's Office this morning with Government Officials. The President had instructed officials to ensure the smooth flow of the country's development process and public service. A statement from the President's Media Division notes the President had instructed the officials to fulfil all public requirements by utilizing funds allocated for the financial year.
