Independent figure for a caretaker gov should be appointed

Colombo (News 1st) - Former Minister Chandrasena Wijeyasinghe stated that there are people who do not like to go for an election under the current Prime Minister. He noted that there are enough solutions for that. He stated that they have the possibility to bring an independent figure that everyone can accept so that an election can be held under a caretaker government. He then stated that there are intelligent individuals who are in the National list but who do not belong to major parties. Adding that the former auditor general Mayadunne and Professor Kapila Perera from the University of Moratuwa are also on the list.
