President summons Ministry Secretaries

Colombo (News1st): President Maithripala Sirisena has instructed all ministry secretaries to ensure the uninterrupted function of public service without any hindrance. Secretaries of all ministries were summoned to the Presidential Secretariat today (December 4). The meeting was convened to instruct the ministry secretaries on state functions, following the interim order issued by the Court of Appeal yesterday, according to a statement issued by the President's Media Unit. The President has instructed the ministry secretaries, state employees, tri-forces, and the Police to continue their service towards national security and fulfil their duties and responsibilities towards the general public.
