"Change sought by the people will be granted soon" - MP Harin Fernando

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The "vessel for justice" a motor rally organized by the United National Party demanding authorities to protect the rights of the people entered its second day today (December 02). The rally commenced yesterday (December 01) from the Veherahena Rajamaha Viharaya following religious observances. Subsequently, the rally reached the Tissamaharama town, where a meeting was organised. Addressing the meeting MP of the United National Party P. Harisson said that although Mahinda Rajapaksa who was a mere MP was suddenly appointed Prime Minister that he will not win such a lottery once again. He continued to say that MR has no concern whatsoever for the economy and its collapse. MP Harisson said that when asked to show the majority in parliament that they had done it three times. Also speaking at the event, UNP MP Vadivel Suresh spoke about the issues of the estate sector. He continued to say that they will never betray the UNP also adding that when Sajith Premadasa becomes President of the country that all votes of the estate folks will be for the United National Party. UNP MP Harin Fernando also speaking at the rally said that although a fake prime minister has been brought in right now from the district of Thissamaharama, it will not be long till a proper PM is appointed from the very district. MP Harin Fernando added that the change sought by the people will be granted very soon. Although the participation of Deputy Leader of the UNP Sajith Premadasa was scheduled at the rally, he was held up in Colombo. The rally which commenced its journey from Thissamaharama reached Kataragama this afternoon (December 02).
