"RW is legitimate PM" - MP Navin Dissanayake

Colombo (News1st): A public rally demanding democracy be protected was organized by the United National Party in Nuwara Eliya today (November 25). The Rally commenced near the Dharmapala Roundabout in Nuwara Eliya and the Protesters then marched towards the Nuwara Eliya Town. Speaking at the rally UNP MP Navin Dissanayake stated that they are not fighting for the rights of the people, but for the democracy of the country. He requested the president to act in accordance with the constitution. He noted that the Ranil Wickremesinghe is the legitimate Prime Minister of the country. MP Dissanayake stated if the president needs to appoint a different person as PM, then he has to send it in writing to the chairman of their party Kabir Hashim. He noted that the people of the country are requesting for a Presidential election.
