Diplomats meet Ranil Wickremesinghe at Temple Trees

Colombo (News1st) - A number for foreign diplomats were seen arriving at Temple Trees last evening (Nov 18). According to our reporters the High Commissioners of UK, Australia and Canada, as well as the ambassadors from the EU, Japan and the United States, had arrived at temple trees. The diplomats had remained inside temple trees for around 2 hours before departing at around 8.20pm. Addressing a media briefing following the meeting MP Ajith P. Perera stated that foreign diplomats continue to recognize Ranil Wickremesinghe as the legitimate Prime Minister of the Country. He emphasized that they continue to remain in power and that they have the majority in Parliament.
