UNP is ready for any election, general or presidential - Navin Dissanayake

COLOMBO (News 1st) - UNP MP Navin Dissanayake says that the party is not afraid of going into an election. However, Dissanayake noted that they should go in for an election with a UNP government in place and under the leadership of a UNP PM. He also stated that they are even prepared for a presidential election. MP Navin Dissanayake said that they are prepared to fight, that they would not give up easily and that he won't leave because he still believes that he is the Minister of Plantation Industries. "We all play games. Still, we don't know when this will end. We have our suicide kits on and we are ready to detonate them. There are brigadiers at Temple of Trees throughout the day. There are about 1000- 2000 of them armed with suicide kits ready to detonate. We have no problem in detonating them" he added.
