SC takes up 11 petitions against dissolution of parliament

COLOMBO (News 1st) - All petitions filed against the dissolution of Parliament are currently being taken up for hearing by the Supreme Court. The cases are being heard by a three-judge bench headed by Chief Justice Nalin Perera. 11 petitions were filed with the Supreme Court today against the dissolution of the parliament. According to our correspondent, these petitions were filed by political parties and several other groups.
