COLOMBO (News 1st) – The Ministry of Health states that a temporary Procurement Board was assigned to avoid a shortage of drugs.

Speaking to News 1st, the Deputy Director General of the Medical Supplies Division of the Ministry Dr. Lal Panapitiya said that false rumours have been circulating on a shortage of drugs in the country.

Refuting the claims he reiterated that there is no such shortage at present.
