32 bike riders arrested for irresponsible riding

COLOMBO (News 1st) - 32 individuals who rode their bikes in an irresponsible manner on the Jaliyagoda - Kesbewa alternative road in Piliyandala have been arrested. The police said that 14 bikes were also taken into custody along with the arrested individuals. The arrests had taken place between 11.00 pm yesterday (November 10) and 3.00 am today (November 11). The suspects are between 19 and 30 years of age. Acting Magistrate of Kesbewa Sunethra Perera ordered the suspects to be remanded till tomorrow after they were produced before the Kesbewa magistrates court.
