Don't give up the fight - Ranil Wickremesinghe

Colombo (News1st): Leader of the United National Party (UNP) Ranil Wickremesinghe issues a special message to his party supporters via social media. Wickremesinghe in his statement thanked his supporters for not letting the country plunge into the darkness of dictatorship and for standing up for democracy and justice. He stated that without resorting to violence they have worked to defeat intimidation and fear with courage, creativity, and hope. He said that this is a battle for their basic freedoms and for their rights. Wickremesinghe urged them not to give up.
