20 people interrogated over CPC shooting

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Colombo Crimes Division said that statements have been recorded from over 20 people regarding the shooting that occurred at the CPC headquarters in Dematagoda. A senior official of the CCD noted that among those questioned are security guards, police officers, and several petroleum officials. He added that several teams have been deployed to investigate the CCTV footage of the incident. On the 28th of October, three people who sustained injuries following a shooting at the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation headquarters in Dematagoda were admitted to the National Hospital. One person succumbed to his injuries upon admission to the hospital.
