UNP will join opposition if they don't have a majority

Colombo (News 1st) - Several media briefings were held at the Temple trees today and MP Ajith P. Perera talking to the media stated that if the United National Party does not command the majority in Parliament, he will take his seat in the opposition. MP Ajith P. Perera stated that yesterday, the Attorney General and the Attorney General's Department were provided special security by the Police Special Task Force and that they are now receiving information about an attempt to conceal important documents pertaining to the investigations carried out by the CID and the FCID. He goes on to state that Special High Court judges who are in charge of serious cases are facing a huge challenge and risk to their lives. He then stated that if they don't have the majority of the Parliament they will be joining the opposition and that it is not an issue for them. The MP stated that currently,  corrupt forces are trying to call off Parliament to postpone the proceedings.
