Colombo (News 1st) – Isithor Arokyanathan the second suspect in the case filed over the assassination of Former Foreign Minister Lakshman Kadirgamar was acquitted and released today (November 03).

Former Minister Kadirgamar was assassinated on the night of August 12th, 2005.

Cases were filed against Muttiah Sahadevan and Isithor Arokyanathan under 05 separate charges at the Colombo High Court under the Prevention of Terrorism Act for aiding in the assassination.
