COLOMBO (News 1st) - Four new ambassadors who were appointed to Sri Lanka handed over their credentials to President Maithripala Sirisena.
Alena Teplitz was appointed as the US Ambassador to Sri Lanka while Akira Sugiyama was appointed as the Japanese Ambassador to Sri Lanka.
Eric Lavertu was appointed as the Ambassador of the Republic of France and Ashraf Haidari was appointed as the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
