Dunesh Gankanda sworn in as State Minister of Environment

Colombo (News1st) – UNP Ratnapura district MP Dunesh Gankanda was sworn in as the state minister of Environment a short while ago.

He was sworn in before President Maithripala Sirisena.

Gankanda earlier served as the Deputy Minister of Lands and Parliamentary Reforms. Gankanda is the second state minister sworn in as part of the new Government under Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.

Yesterday (Oct 29) a total of 12 ministers, 1 deputy minister and a state minister were sworn in.
