UPDATE – Mahinda Rajapaksa has been sworn in as the new prime minister.

COLOMBO (News 1st) – UPFA General Secretary Mahinda Amaraweera states that the UPFA will be withdrawing from the government.

The letter in this regard is to be delivered to the speaker.

Amaraweera has also said that Former president Mahinda Rajapaksa is to be sworn in as the new prime minister.
