Colombo (News 1st) – Two individuals were injured in a shooting this morning near the Rotumba Rural Bank in Matara.

Police stated that two individuals on a motorcycle, wearing helmets had opened fire and fled the area. The Mawarala Police conducting further investigations.

The two victims injured were admitted to the Mawarala hospital, and due to the severity, one victim has been transferred to the Matara Base Hospital.
