Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison is facing an embarrassing situation after his personal website (www.scottmorrison.com.au) was taken over by a Melbourne based individual.

The website now plays an aptly titled rock song “Scotty Doesn’t know” made popular by the movie EuroTrip.

The situation occurred when the Prime Minister’s staff forgot to renew the domain license on his personal website. The domain is now owned by Melbourne native Jack Gensin.

Gensin took to Facebook to claim responsibility for the prank.

The story gives us two valuable takeaways,

Always remember to renew your domain licenses and even prime ministers make mistakes.
