COLOMBO (News 1st) – An earthslip in close proximity to the Castlereigh reservoir has plunged 4 houses and a section of the Hatton – Balangoda road into the reservoir.

Yesterday the road was closed and vehicular movement was suspended indefinitely.

23 people from 05 families living in these houses have been evacuated to safety.
