COLOMBO (News 1st) – Nine suspects who were treasure hunting were arrested in Galewela, Kumbukgollawa, and Polonnaruwa.

The police confirmed that six individuals were arrested by the Polonnaruwa police with sacred ornaments based on a tip-off received. Another three were arrested from Kumbukgollawa.

The suspects are due to be produced before the Dambulla and Polonnaruwa Magistrates today (October 14).
