COLOMBO (News 1st) - Chairman of the Entomology Officers Association, Najith Sumanasena said that a risk prevails for the density of mosquito larvae to increase due to the inclement weather.
He also said that the Western, Northern and Eastern provinces are more prone to this risk.
The National Dengue Prevention Unit has organized a programme on dengue prevention for the 1st and 2nd of November particularly for the identified areas.
Meanwhile, 39,793 dengue patients have been reported across the island throughout the year.
