Road Development Authority issues warning to be cautious on the expressway due to heavy rainfall

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The road development authority has requested motorists using the expressway to exercise caution due to heavy rainfall. Director of Expressway Operations, Maintenance, and Management Division of the RDA,  S. Opanayaka, advised motorists to limit their maximum speed to 60 kmph when driving on the highway. He further noted that an accident had taken place between Kelanigama and Dodangoda due to the adverse weather conditions this morning (October 06).
