33 year old killed in Angoda shooting

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A 33-year-old male was killed in a shooting that took place in the Angoda Junction along the old Colombo-Avissawella road. Police media spokesperson SP Ruwan Gunasekara said an unknown gunman who arrived at the scene on a motorbike had opened fire at the victim and fled the scene. The victim was identified as an individual named Tharaka Iroshan Perera, a resident of Kalapaluwawa. His body currently lies at the Mulleriyawa hospital.
