29-year-old murdered in Mattakkuliya

Colombo (News1st): An individual was killed using a sharp weapon in the Samithpura area in Mattakuliya. The victim was a 29-year-old resident of Sri Wickramapura. According to the Police said the crime took place around 7.30 last night (October 04). The suspect had entered into the three-wheeler which the victim along with his wife and child were traveling in. The preliminary investigations has revealed that the murder was committed following a dispute over money. The suspect had fled the area following incident and police are conducting further investigations to arrest the suspect.
