Following a media briefing held in Colombo, MPs representing the Joint Opposition visited the MILCO factory.
The Chairman of MILCO, Quality Manager, and members of the financial division of the company held discussions with the parliamentarians.
The Chairman of MILCO stated that they looked into the matter adding that the milk packets in question had been punctured in two places. He added that an inquiry has been launched to ascertain what chemical was injected into the milk packets.
