Colombo (News1st) – A Sri Lankan Parliamentary delegation is currently in India based on an invitation extend by the Indian Government. At the same time, former President Mahinda Rajapaksa is also in India, based on an invitation extended by BJP leader Dr. Subramaniam Swami.
Later this year, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe is due to travel to India after returning from Vietnam.
The Parliamentary delegation currently in India consists of;
The group called on Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi this morning (September 10), before meeting the Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj. They are due to meet with the Indian President Ramnath Kovind on Tuesday (September 11).
