Legal action against 9 fmr. ministers who remain in official residences

Colombo (News1st) - The Ministry of Public Administration and Management has decided to initiate legal action against 9 former ministers who are yet to hand over their official residences. A senior spokesperson for the ministry noted that the 9 individuals in question include Ministers, State Ministers, and Deputy Ministers. She noted that the persons in question have been informed to vacate their former official residences with immediate effect adding that legal action would be initiated if they do not comply. The ministry is also preparing to initiate legal action against former state officials who are yet to hand over their official residences.
