"Witness what will unfold in 2020" - Min. Sajith Premadasa

Colombo (News1st) - The 'Gamini Dissanayakepura Udagammana Project' was vested with the public on Saturday (September 8). The event in Kirimatiyawatta, Yatinuwara was held under the patronage of the UNP Deputy Leader, Minister of Housing and Construction, Sajith Premadasa. The project is the 118th model village of its kind, constructed under the Yali Pibidena Udagammana project. A sum of Rs. 25.1 Million has been spent on the construction of this village which has 19 houses. Housing loans worth Rs. 21 Million, Sonduru Piyasa loans worth Rs. 23.8 Million and development land deeds worth Rs. 28.5 Million were presented by the Minister at this event. In addition, the minister also presented equipment for self-employment and eyeglasses. UNP Parliamentarian Mayantha Dissanayake, the son of late Gamini Dissanayake, presented a token of appreciation to Minister Sajith Premadasa for naming the Udagammana project under his late father's name. Speaking at this event, min. Sajith Premadasa said "Open your eyes and witness what will unfold in 2020. I believe that the people will take all the relevant decisions at the right time. I am only a minister. If I had more responsibility, a bigger spoon, I know how to do the work."
