39 year old JO protestor passed away following heart attack

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A member of the public who participated in last evening (September 05) JO protest, had passed away. A spokesperson for the National Hospital said that the patient had passed away upon being hospitalized due to a heart attack. The deceased has been identified as a 39-year-old father of three and a resident of Thalawakele in Hatton and had participated in the rally as a supporter of a local politician. Meanwhile, a separate group which attended the rally were admitted to the National hospital due to food poisoning at around midnight last night. 25 people were discharged after treatment, while 8 others continue to receive in-house treatment.     ඒකාබද්ධ විපක්ෂය ඊයේ පැවැත්වු විරෝධතා රැළියට සහභාගී වූ පුද්ගලයෙකු ජීවිතක්ෂයට පත්ව තිබෙනවා. ජාතික රෝහලේ ප්‍රකාශකයෙකු සදහන් කලේ හෘදයාබාධයක් වැළදීම හේතුවෙන් අදාළ රෝගියා රෝහල් ගත කිරීමෙන් පසු ජීවිතක්ෂයට පත්වූ බවයි. මිය ගොස් ඇත්තේ හැටන් - තලවාකැලේ ප්‍රදේශයේ පදිංචි 39 හැවිරිදි පුද්ගලයෙක්. ඔහු රැළියට සහාභාගී වී ඇත්තේ ප්‍රාදේශිය දේශපාලඥයෙකුගේ ආධාරකරුවකු ලෙසයි. මියගිය පුද්ගලයා තිදරු පියෙකු බව රැළියට සහභාගී වූ ඔහුගේ හිතවතෙකු සදහන් කලා. මේ අතර, ආහාර විෂ වීමක් හේතුවෙන් විරෝධතා රැලියට පැමිණි පිරිසක් ජාතික රෝහලට ඇතුළත් කර තිබෙනවා. ඊයේ මධ්‍යම රාත්‍රී 12 පමණ වන විට ඒ අතරින් 25 දෙනෙකු ප්‍රතිකාර ලබා පිටව ගොස් ඇති අතර, 8 දෙනෙකු ජාතික රෝහලේ නේවාසිකව ප්‍රතිකාර ලබමින් සිටින බව සදහන්.
