Heroin and hand grenades confiscated from Athurugiriya

Colombo (News1st) -  2 Suspects were arrested near the expressway entrance in Athurugiriya this morning for possession of heroin and 2 hand grenades. Police said 2 foreign manufactured hand grenades and 1.83g of heroin were discovered when the Police raided a lorry that had been parked near the expressway entrance. The suspects aged 36 and 35 years are residents of weligama and beruwela. They are to be produced before the Kaduwela Magistrate's Court today.
