Bus strike in Tangalle

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A group of SLTB employees and private bus employees attached to the Tangalle Depot launched a strike action with effect from yesterday (August 28).
40 Private buses and 57 SLTB buses plying from Tangalle to Colombo have joined the strike action.
The News 1st correspondent in the area said around 300 bus employees have joined the strike. It was launched citing several demands.
