COLOMBO (News 1st) – Japanese Defence Minister, Itsunori Onodera met Prime Minister, Ranil Wickremasinghe last evening (August 21).
The meeting was held at the Temple Trees.
Onodera will also be taking a tour to Hambanthota and Trincomalee within the course of the day today (August 22).
This is incidentally the first time, a Japanese Defence Minister has made a visit to Sri Lanka.
The Japanese delegation is scheduled to leave the island tomorrow evening (August 23).
