Anti-Corruption Police officers arrested for robbery

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A police inspector and two police constables attached to the Anti-Corruption Unit of the Panadura Police division have been arrested in connection to an alleged robbery. The Police Media Division states that the Police STF had arrested the three suspects in Kalutara. The suspects have been handed over to the Organized Crimes division of Colombo and are due to be produced before the Kaluthara Magistrate's Court. The Organized Crimes Division are conducting further investigations into the matter.
