Cases filed against 6 shops that sold food unsuitable for human consumption

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Cases were filed against six shops which had sold food unsuitable for human consumption following a raid which took place in Wellawaya yesterday (August 17). The raid was conducted by PHI's attached to the Wellawaya medical health office. During the raid, the PHI's inspected a number of shops as well as the weekly fair in Wellawaya.  Following the raid, PHI's took steps to destroy the unsuitable food items.
