COLOMBO (News 1st) – The Civil aviation authority has announced plans to promote domestic flights within Sri Lanka.
H. M. Nimalsiri, Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) stated that accordingly, two new airlines would be granted permission to operate the domestic flights of the country.
The Director-General added that they have been granted permission to purchase two aircraft with a capacity of 50 passengers each for the domestic flight service.
