One arrested over illegal logging in Kandulegama

COLOMBO (News 1st) - An individual that has been illegally logging at the Kahallapalle reserve in Kandulegama has been arrested. The Wildlife Conservation Office of Galkiriyagama stated a Caterpillar machine made use for cutting down trees has been seized by the Wildlife officers. Further, an operation has been launched to trace another individual that had reportedly been providing assistance to the arrested suspect.
