Two gold smugglers arrested at BIA

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Two suspects were arrested while attempting to smuggle ten gold biscuits worth Rs. 6.5 Million into the country by customs officers at the Bandaranayake International Airport. According to Customs Officials, the gold biscuits weigh around 1 kg. The two arrested suspects aged 43 and 44, have arrived from Chennai and Singapore and are residents of Colombo 12 and Mahabage respectively.
