COLOMBO (News 1st) – A suspect who was arrested for his involvement in a heroin racket has been ordered to be detained until the 9th of this month by the Ratnapura Magistrate’s court.

The suspect was arrested in Kuruvita along with a stock of 100 grams and 340 milligrams of heroin and a sum of Rs. 51,000, the arrest was based on a tip-off. The suspect is a 34-year-old resident of Middeniya.
