Trailer for Ed Sheeran documentary 'Songwriter' released

REUTERS: The trailer for "Songwriter," a documentary about singer songwriter Ed Sheeran, was released on Wednesday (August 1). "Songwriter" is directed by Sheeran's cousin and filmmaker, Murray Cummings and documents the creation of the singer's chart-topping album, "Divide." The film had its world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival this year and made its North American debut at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival in New York. "Songwriter" will be available worldwide exclusively on Apple Music on August 28 ahead of a limited theatrical release in New York on August 17 at the IFC Center and in Los Angeles at the ArcLight Hollywood on August 24.
