Artist Indika Ginige passes away

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Popular artist Indika Ginige passed away this morning. (July 24) The Sri Lanka singers Association in a statement said that he had passed away while receiving treatment at the Kandy General Hospital. He was 37 years old at the time of his demise. His remains will lay at a funeral parlor in Kandy today and the final rites will be performed at the Mahaiyyawa General Cemetery tomorrow (July 25). Indika Ginige was renowned for being both an actor and a singer.
