Aadi Vel parade set to reach Kataragama devalaya

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Aadi-Vel procession, carrying the Velayudha of the God of Kataragama, organized by The Capital Maharaja Organization Limited, left Hambantota, this morning. (July 24) The parade commenced its journey following special poojas. The parade which began from Sel-wa-san-nidi Kovil at Point Pedro on the 19th of this month, began its journey to the Kataragama Maha Devalaya, yesterday. (July 23) The parade is set to reach the Kataragama Maha Devalaya, today.
