Gota summoned before court

COLOMBO (News 1^st) –  Colombo Additional Magistrate Kanchana Neranjana De Silva ordered for summons to be issued on Former Defence Secretary, Gotabhaya Rajapaksa and six others, notifying them to appear before court on the 7^th of September. Charges have been filed against them in connection to the alleged misuse of state funds, worth Rs. 81 million for the construction of the D. A. Rajapaksa Museum in Weeraketiya, Tangalle. The Police Financial Crimes Investigations division had filed the case based on the instructions of the attorney general. Summons were also issued on;
