One killed, two injured in Digampathaha accident

COLOMBO (News 1st) - One person died and two others were injured in an accident in the Digampathaha area in Sigiriya. The accident had occurred when a lorry travelling from Dambulla to Habarana collided with a cab. The deceased was reported to be a 49-year-old resident of Mawilmada, Kandy. The injured were admitted to the Dambulla Base Hospital. The driver of the lorry has been arrested and the Sigiriya Police has launched investigations into the accident.
