Water interruption for 16 hours in many areas island wide

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A spokesperson for the National Water Supply and Drainage Board stated, that the supply of water to several areas including Peliyagoda and Kelaniya will be suspended for 16 hours today. (July 15) The areas of Wattala Urban Council and areas which come under the Wattala, Biyagama, Mahara, Dompe, Ja Ela and Gampaha Pradeshiya Sabhas, will have an interruption of water since 8.00 am. The water cut will also be in effect in the areas which come under the Ja Ela, Katunayake and Seeduwa Urban Councils. The Water Board said, that such suspension has occurred due to mandatory repair work.
