COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Presidential Commission investigating SriLankan Airlines, SriLankan Catering and Mihin Lanka says that all witnesses will be protected under the provisions of the law. It was revealed at the Presidential Commission of Inquiry today that in 2011 Kuma Stickers Private Limited had supplied hoardings to Sri Lankan Airlines for several key locations including the premises of the Bandaranaike International Airport. However, a Senior Manager of Marketing at Sri Lankan Airlines who testified today said that he could only locate the agreements for those contracts or a single corresponding letter calling for quotation and related documents. The Attorney Generals Department highlighted this as irregularity by the airline.
