Power outage ruins 1920 liters of milk

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Residents who's electricity requirements are met through the Puttlam brach of the CEB state that they have been severely inconvenienced by the constant power outages experienced in the area. Highlighting one instance, the area residents revealed to News1st that the Welusumanapura area in Madurankuliya experienced a power outage on Monday (July 9th) morning which was resolved at around 7pm. As a result of this outage around 1920 liters of milk at the collection center in Welusumanapura was spoilt. Area residents claim that they are yet to receive any respite from the CEB although they have informed the officials and authorities on numerous occasions.
