National Elections commission to compile an additional list of voters

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The National Elections Commission has decided to compile an additional list for voters who are registering for the first time, having completed 18 years of age. Director of Legal Affairs at the Elections Commission, Attorney-at-Law, Nimal Punchihewa said, the particular list will be renewed once every three months. Punchihewa further noted the draft bill in this regard has been submitted to the Legal Draftsman Department.
